The petitioners, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 379, 430 IPC r/w Section 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Public Property (prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992 in crime No.100 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. It is seen that this petition has been filed during the lock-down period and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners did not take any steps to list this matter before this Court for the past two years. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered after the period of two years.
3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
