The petitioner herein making allegation that she came into contact 1/4
with the second respondent over instagram and had sex with him, since he promise that he will marry her. The complaint registered on 10.02.2023 not yet taken up for investigation. Hence, the present petition.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the petitioner herein had made a similar complaint before the Thirumangalam Police Station alleging that one Balaji developed intimacy with her through Instagram and had sex with her. To verify her prudential, the police sought her appearance for enquiry, but, she is evading summons. Hence, the police is not able to complete the investigation.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if any summon is issued, she will participate in the enquiry and co-operate for the completion of investigation.
4. In view of the fact that the delay in filing the final report is because of the complainant herself, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Vv 08.04.2024 2/4
