Mr.S.Balamurugan, Government Advocate for R1 to R4 Common Order These Writ Petitions are filed by the petitioners to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to issue patta in respect of the property as sought vide representation lastly dated 08.08.2025.
2. Case of the petitioners is that the above said subject property is belonged to the petitioners by way of a registered settlement deed. The said
property was originally belonged to Shri Thillaiamman Koil, which had transferred the said property under a registered Deed in favour of one Noor Mohammed Sahib and Mohammed Shariff Sahib, who plotted out the said properties and sold to several third parties and thereby, the subject properties was subsequently belonged to the petitioners vide registered Settlement Deeds. Now the petitioners are the absolute owners of the properties. Therefore, when the petitioners intended to mutate patta from the name of their vendors, they were shocked to see that along with the name of their vendors, the name of the 5th respondent temple is also erroneously incorporated. Hence, they made representations to the respondents 1 to 4 on 08.08.2025 to rectify the same. Since no action is forthcoming, the petitioners are before this Court.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it would suffice, if the 4th respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 08.08.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
6. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 4th respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 08.08.2025, after providing opportunity to the 5th respondent Temple and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
