This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to provide adequate police protection to conduct the Chitra Pournami Festival on 12.05.2025, 13.05.2025 and 14.05.2025 in Kaliamman, Mariamman, Perumal and Vinayakar Temples in Paithur Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation made by the petitioner dated 13.02.2025, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
