ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order issued by the 2nd respondent undated in Application I.D.No.2025/NLG/PH003 and to quash the same, consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to transfer the petitioner to Thanjavur District.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. A mere perusal of the records would clearly indicate the fact that as soon as the FIR had been filed against the petitioner, she has sought a transfer. She has been working in the said place from 2015 and despite her physical condition and her family circumstances continued there. Only now, she has come forward with the request. It is well open to the petitioner to make a fresh request at the time of the general transfer. As and when the request is made by the petitioner, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders as per due process of law. They shall also consider the fact that she has been posted at the same place for over a decade.

With the above directions, this writ petition stands dismissed. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
