ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners herein, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 & 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.234 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The petitioners herein apprehending arrest in connection with a complaint given by one Srinivasan alleging that the petitioners had attacked him with knife, when he objected them catching fish in the lake, which was leased out to 3rd party. The de facto complainant was employed as watchman. The wound certificate indicates that the injuries caused by the petitioners on the left side of the forehead requires suture.
3. Considering the fact that the occurrence had taken place during the night hours on 08.04.2022 near the lake and the petitioners were carrying knife with them and used it, when the quarrel erupted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
between the de facto complainant and the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition for anticipatory bail in view of the fact that the First Information Report indicates that the petitioners herein have shown a threat to the de facto complainant while he escaped from their further attack.
