ORDER
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2025.
2. Upon hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the 1/3
learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the father of the minor child, Jaashawi Kolla and the said name is entered in the birth certificate of the child. Now, apparently, there seems to be marital discord and therefore, as usual the docket multiplication, this prayer is also made not to change the name of the daughter at the instance of the wife alone.
3. Be that as it may, since the wife is not made as a party to the proceedings, the respondents shall take up the representation dated 04.03.2025 and issue notice to both the petitioner as well as the mother of the child, if there is any request that is pending with the second respondent. If no request is pending, the petitioner can be informed accordingly. If any request is pending, it shall be decided in accordance with the law. No costs. 28.03.2025 nsl D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J.
