Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 08.12.2025 pending on the file of the 1st respondent herein within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 08.12.2025 pending on the file of the 1st respondent herein within a time frame as fixed by this Court."
2.The petitioner was working as an Assistant Quality Inspector under the 3rd respondent Corporation. The petitioner would submit that a charge memo dated 01.02.2023 was issued alleging that the petitioner 2/6
caused a loss of Rs.1,46,594/- to the corporation.
3. The petitioner submitted his explanation on 16.05.2023 denying the charges. Thereafter, an Enquiry Officer was appointed and the Enquiry Officer submitted his report on 18.02.2025. The petitioner submitted his further explanation on 10.04.2025 pointing out violations of statutory provisions and principles of natural justice and stating that the alleged loss had already been recovered. However, the 2nd respondent imposed the punishment of stoppage of increment for three years without cumulative effect by order dated 11.11.2025.
4. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner preferred a statutory appeal before the 1st respondent on 08.12.2025. However, the appeal remains pending. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court for the aforesaid relief.
5. Considering the fact that the statutory appeal has been pending since 08.12.2025, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to dispose of the said appeal within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of 3/6
a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
