O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to implement the Lok Adalat Award dated 29.06.2022 passed before the District Legal Services Authority, Salem.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. A settlement came to be made in view of the settlement arrived between the parties before Lok Adalat.

4. In pursuant to the settlement arrived at between the parties in Lok Adalat on 29.06.2022, the Labour Court, has passed the Award on 11.07.2022. Since the Award came to be passed on settlement, there cannot be any objection for the respondents to implement the same. They cannot file an appeal as the settlement has been arrived at only during the Lok Adalat.

5. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is allowed There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
