ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) & 316 of IPC, in Crime No.258 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the Case Diary file.

3. The First Information Report indicates that the petitioner herein in drunken state had attacked his wife knowingly that she is pregnant. As a result the fetus got aborted and the victim lady has given statement to the police about the ill treatment met out at the hands of the petitioner and fear to join the petitioner and live together.

4. Considering the nature of the complaint and the injury caused by the petitioner herein, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
