O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to pass orders in the appeal/representation made by the petitioner on 27.11.2023 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.K.Sasindran, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that joint patta was issued for the subject property and the petitioner was also shown as one of the 2/4

joint patta holder. However, a subsequent order was passed by the fourth respondent on 28.02.2022 by removing the name of the petitioner from the patta. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the third respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 27.11.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 5 and 6 and final orders shall be passed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
