O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed, challenging the order of transfer dated 21.02.2015, whereby the petitioner was transferred from Udumalpet to Salem Electricity Distribution Circle.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for R1 on instructions submitted that pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court in this Writ Petition, the petitioner was allowed to work as Assistant Accounts Officer in Udumalpet Electricity Distribution Circle itself. He further submitted that the petitioner had been promoted from the post of Assistant Accounts Officer to the post of Accounts Officer and she is still serving in the Udumalpet Distribution 2/4

Circle. As the petitioner has already been promoted, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition no longer survives.

3. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
