O R D E R
The petitioner, who is arrayed as A13 in Crime No.229 of 2020 have filed these criminal miscellaneous petitions to relax the bail conditions (b) the petitioner shall not leave the Chennai city, until further orders; (c) the petitioner shall surrender his passport to the Superintendent of the concerned Prison, before release; and (d) the petitioner shall inform about their residence in Chennai to the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai and the petitioner shall put themselves in quarantine in the given residential address, imposed on them by order dated 12.05.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.7506 of 2020.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to the conditions imposed on him, the petitioner, who is the resident of Salem District, unable to meet his family and without financial support, they have been facing great difficulty for their day-to-day survival. He further submitted that the petitioner was not able to carry on with his work, due to which, he has been deprived of his earnings and therefore, the petitioner as well as his family are put to undue hardship.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner does not have any valid passport and he informed the same to 2/6
the Superintendent of Prison concerned while executing the bond. He further submitted that the petitioner is now residing at Madarsha Falah, Moore Street, 37, 4th Beach Road, Near Clive Battery, Chennai -1. 4.
The petitioner has filed an affidavit giving his residential address at Salem, which reads as follows:
Petitioner Residential Address SB Syed Jeelan Old No.894, New No.895, Anna Vathiyaar Street, Kalarampatti, Salem - 15.
Further, in the affidavit, he has stated that he is not affected by COVID-19 and he has also sworn that he himself make his own arrangement for transportation from Chennai to Salem and sought modification/relaxation of the bail conditions imposed on him by this Court. 5.
Taking into consideration the present situation of the petitioner and the supporting affidavit filed by him, undertaking that he will make his own arrangement for transportation from Chennai to Salem, get necessary pass and permission for travel and also taking note of the fact that he was found negative for COVID-19 test, this Court is inclined to permit the petitioner to travel to Salem and the restrictions imposed on his travel and movement by this 3/6
Court vide order dated 12.05.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.7506 of 2020, is hereby relaxed.
These criminal miscellaneous petitions are ordered with the above directions. As the petitioner has undertaken to make his own arrangement for transportation from Chennai to Salem, get necessary pass and permission for travel, direction to the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, to provide safe transit to the petitioner, is superfluous. 11.06.2020 nsd Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No Speaking order/Non-speaking order 4/6
