PRAYER: This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to modify the condition imposed in para 7(b) in Crl.O.P.No.3586 of 2024 dated 13.02.2025 by this Court. For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

The petitioner seeks modification of the condition directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m. until further orders imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3586 of 2025 dated 13.02.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that since he was directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, Manamelkudi Police Station, Pudukottai District, daily at 10.00 a.m. for a period of thirty days by the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court in Crl.O.P (MD).No.23025 of 2024 dated 27.12.2024, he could not comply with the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3586 of 2025 dated 13.02.2025.

3. It is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent that the petitioner has appeared before the Inspector of Police, Manamelkudi Police Station, Pudukottai, for thirty days and he would now be directed to appear before the respondent police. Page No.2 of 5

In view of the same, the condition imposed on the petitioner in para no.7(b) in Crl.O.P.No.3586 of 2025 dated 13.02.2025 is modified, directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter once a week, i.e., on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. The other conditions imposed in the order dated 13.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.3586 of 2025 shall remain unaltered.

5. Accordingly, the criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered and the condition is modified.
