ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 27.12.2022 in accordance with law and issue suitable directions to respondents to maintain the 3 lake ari in survey Nos.431, 425 and 435 and clean the muds in water channels at Survey No.1 to 423 and maintain the same.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, submitted that the representation of the petitioner to de-silt and clean up the lake would be considered and disposed of, on merits. Mr.P.Muthukumar, sought eight weeks' time to dispose of the representation.

3. Recording the statement of Mr.P.Muthukumar, this writ petition is disposed of, granting eight weeks' time to the first respondent, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to consider and take action

on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2022, on merits and in accordance with law. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.12725 of 2023 is closed. (T.R., ACJ.)
