O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner on 01.04.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for transfer of patta in his name.

2. Heard Mr.C.R.Gokulvisvasu, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents submitted that the petitioner has sought for transfer of patta in his name, whereas, the petitioner is having sisters and hence, the second respondent has not acted upon the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner.

4. In the considered view of this Court, if the second respondent wants to get any clarification from the petitioner, he can call the petitioner for enquiry and he can be asked to produce necessary documents and thereafter, the second respondent shall take a decision on the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner. 2/4

5. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner on 01.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
