This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R., in Crime No.817 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent police. 1/4

A case and case in counter been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.803 of 2021 on the complaint given by one B.Prabhakaran, who is the 1st petitioner herein and the other case registered in Crime No.817 of 2021 against one B.Sankar. Though the complaint given by the petitioner herein was investigated and final report filed, which is taken cognizance by the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruporur in C.C.No. 6 of 2023, the complaint against the petitioners herein which is under investigation in Crime No.817 of 2021 not yet been completed and by the time now the petitioner had approached this Court to quash the FIR.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the investigation in Crime No.817 of 2021 has also been completed and within a month final report will be filed and if the offence is cognizable, they will follow the procedure contemplated under Police Station Order No.588 or they will close the complaint and report to the defacto complainant as per the law. 4.

Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
