The petitioner in Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.99 of 2013 on the file of Subordinate Court, Cuddalore has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the Original Petition within a stipulated time.
2. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P. No.99 of 2013 for divorce.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen and that in view of the long pendency of the matter, he is put to hardship and prejudice. However, the learned counsel submitted that the 1st respondent has not filed her counter till this date.
4. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Subordinate Court, Cuddalore to dispose of the Original Petition in H.M.O.P.No.99 of 2013, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
