Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2018 and to direct the first respondent to accommodate any of the existing or future vacancy by giving priority to the petitioner.

Heard Mr.K.Anbarasan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Kavitha, the learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. On consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

The grievance of the petitioner in this case is that, after completion of Post Graduate Degree, she has been posted as Junior Tutor (Department of Bio-Chemistry) at Sivagangai Medical College, Sivagangai. However, thereafter, she has made a representation seeking for her transfer to any other post at Chennai, on 10.08.2018, on the ground that her husband is working at Chennai, and as such, has come to this Court seeking a direction to consider her representation and to post her against any existing vacancy or future vacancy. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner taking into consideration that her husband is working in Chennai, and also her other predicaments as stated in the representation. 4.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents however, submits that the petitioner has recently joined in the new place of posting and also the representation is filed only on 10.08.2018, and as such, the petitioner has made out no case that the respondents are guilty of inaction. Hence, this Writ Petition is devoid of merit. 5.

Be that as it may, considering the fact that the petitioner has filed the representation seeking transfer on the grounds stated therein with the first respondent, it is hope and trust that the first respondent shall consider and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in its own merit. However, it is made clear that the aforesaid order should not be treated as mandate of this Court to consider the representation in any particular manner.

6. With the aforesaid order, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
