Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the circulars dated 26.03.2014 and 06.05.2014 in Circular Memo No.001631-2/CE/MTPS.1/Ni.Pi.5/Ni.U.1/ KO.Circular/2014 and Circular Memo No.Ku.Aa.No.U.Ni.A/ Ni.Me/Ni.P6/2014 respectively issued by the second respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to pay the petitioner monthly salary and all other monetary benefits directly by cash and also to pay the petitioner the arrears of salary payable to the petitioner from August 2014 to till date and interest at the rate of 18% for the belated payment of salary from April 2014, award exemplary cost. Today when the petitions are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in all the writ petitions submitted that the prayer sought for in these petitions has become infructuous and nothing survive in the present petitions. 3.
In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, all the Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to cost.
