This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to grant permission and police protection to perform the cultural program of "Adalpadal" on 08.04.2018 at Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Maduraiveeran Om Kali Amman Tiru Koil, at Reddipalayam, Velli Tirupur, Andiyur, Erode District and to provide adequate police protection, based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2018.

2. The petitioner had given a representation dated 02.04.2018 to the respondent police for conducting cultural activities in the local temple. It is for the respondent Police to take a decision depending upon the law and order situation and this Court cannot give a direction to the police as prayed for by the petitioner.
