This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.892 of 2020 on the file of respondent police.

2.Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation in Crime No.892 of 2020 for the offence under Section 294(b), 323 of IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 will be completed soon and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

second respondent will be able to file the final report within a period of six months before the jurisdictional Court.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), direction is issued to the second respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.892 of 2020 and file the final report before the Jurisdictional Court within a period of six months from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
