ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the 1st respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and her house property, situated at Aanaipogi Village, Vallam Post, Vanthavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 23.05.2020 and 26.05.2020.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent police.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents 2 to 6 came to the petitioner's house, attacked the petitioner, threatened and damager her house and two wheeler viz Passion Pro bearing Reg.No.TN25AT6057 using iron rod. Therefore, the petitioner has sought for a police protection from the respondents 2 to 6. While being so, there is a threat from the accused persons, therefore, the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 23.05.2020 and 26.05.2020 before the 1st respondent for police protection.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police have already registered an FIR in Crime No.852 of 2020 against the accused persons for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992.
5.Considering the above facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the 1st respondent police to enquire the complaint given by the petitioner against the respondents 2 to 6 and take appropriate action as against the accused persons for the offence committed by them.
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
