(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2021 and issue patta in favour of petitioner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she is aged about 70 years and she along with her family residing in the house site bearing Door No.30, Jagannathapuram, 1st Street, 2nd Lane, Chetpet, Chennai-31 comprised in Survey No.401/8 and 401/23 to an extent of 420 sq.ft., and she is paying all the taxes to the concerned authorities. However, so far, no patta has been granted in her favour. Hence, she has submitted her representation before the respondent right from the year 2009 and her latest representation on 23.01.2021. But, so far, it was not considered and no order has been passed on it. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2021 and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
