ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 5.2.2019 and pass orders within a time frame.

2. It appears that the petitioner has some axe to grind against the 2nd respondent, who was the Branch Manager of Puducherry Bus Depot. In the course of discharging the duties, it appears that the petitioner has been wrongly taken to task by way of disciplinary action on the basis of wrong discharge of duties by the 2nd respondent.

3. Though the above facts are averred, however, this Court is unable to appreciate as to how such a mandamus, as above, could be granted and how such direction could be issued to the 1st respondent to take action against the 2nd respondent. In case the 2nd respondent has committed any act of misconduct, it is always open to the Management to initiate action. However, it is not open to the petitioner to seek a blanket direction to the 1st respondent to initiate action against the 2nd respondent. It is always https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

open to the petitioner to work out his remedies in a manner known to law and it is certainly not open to him to knock the doors of this Court by invoking the extra-ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

4. For the reasons aforesaid, this Court finds that the writ petition is not maintainable and, accordingly, the same is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
