This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.03 of 2007 on its file and final report within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report has been prepared as 'Further Action Dropped'. The same is yet to be filed before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

3.There shall be a direction to the respondent police to file the closure report before the concerned jurisdictional Court, within a period of four weeks. The RCS notice shall also be served on the defacto complainant and it is left open to the defacto complainant to file a protest petition and to workout her remedy. 4.This criminal original petition is disposed of. 18.07.2023 Speaking Order : Yes/No Index : Yes/No ssr 2/4
