This writ petition is filed to quash the second respondent bearing Ref.No.4053/E3/4/2019 dated 04.11.2019 and consequently direct the respondents to restore the petitioner's position as an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Physiology, Madurai Medical College, Madurai in accordance with the MCI norms.

2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the subsequent filing of the writ petition, the petitioner participated in the Transfer Counselling on 27.02.2021 and had opted to join as a Tutor in Physiology Department at Virudhunagar Medical College. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 22.11.2024 cda 2/4
