ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for directing the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Perambalur District to complete the trial in C.C.No.342 of 2013 within stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that, petitioners are accused in C.C.No.342 of 2013 pending on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Perambalur District. Though this case is pending from the year 2013, till the trial is not concluded. Therefore, this petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Perambalur District to complete the trial.

3. In response, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that out of 23 witnesses, prosecution has examined 15 witnesses so far. He further submitted that remaining witnesses would be examined in the due course of time.

4. In the light of the submission of the learned counsel for the parties

and also the fact that this case is pending from the year 2013, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Perambalur District to examine the remaining witnesses and dispose the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
