This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2023 on the file of the District Crime Branch, Erode to some other agency and monitor by a superior officer. 1/4

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the complaint dated 12.10.2023 for the alleged offence of fraud under the guise of multi level marketing not been properly investigated by the 2nd respondent and no Investigating Officer been so far appointed. Hence transfer to some other agency monitoring by a superior officer. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the case has been registered and transferred on 30.01.2024 and one Ragupathy, Inspector of Police been appointed as Investigating Officer. Investigation is now under the progress. So far in search of A1 and A2 and their vehicles been seized, whereabouts of A2 now been traced.

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent herein to expedite the investigation and complete it within a period of five months. 12.04.2024 Index : Yes/No rpl 2/4
