ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners herein, who were arrested for the alleged offence under Sections 147, 323, 506(ii), 148, 307, 149 of IPC in Crime No.48 of 2022, seek bail.

2. It is a case of brutal attack by the petitioners on the defacto complainant causing grevious injury, particularly on the vital part, while an attempt was made on the life of the Victim.

3. This Court on considering the gravity of the offence and the stage of the investigation, has dismissed the earlier bail petition on 31.03.2022.

4. The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) states that the investigation has entered into a very crucial stage and the defacto complainant has already stated that the petitioners are powerful persons and he has threat to his life and that was the reason for not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

giving complaint against them and states that if these petitioners are released on bail, there is possibility of intimidating the witnesses and distorting the evidence.

5. In view of the above fact and since there is no change in the circumstances, it is not conducive to release the petitioners on bail before the completion of investigation. Hence, these Criminal Original Petitions for bail are dismissed.
