This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint dated 21.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public prosecutor appearing for the Respondent submitted that on the complaint dated 21.06.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.68 of 2016 and the dispute is essentially between the petitioner and his stepmother Shilpa. The allegation in the complaint is that on 20.06.2016 at 7.00pm, Shilpa, trespassed into the property of the petitioner and threatened him.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and take action in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.
