JUDGMENT
(Judgement of the Court was delivered by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.) This Writ Appeal has been preferred against the order of a learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.7387 of 2016 dated 29.02.2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned counsel for the respondents.
3.The respondent Electricity Board by a letter dated 26.09.2015, demanded Rs.9,75,765/- from the appellant for default in the meter reading. When the order was challenged, this Court directed the writ petitioner/appellant to pay a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- to the respondents 3 and 4 and on such compliance, the respondent Electricity Board was directed to restore the service connection of the writ petitioner/appellant and pass an order afresh after providing the opportunity to the necessary parties.
4.Aggrieved against the conditional order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court, the writ petitioner/appellant is before this Court with this Writ Appeal.
5.The Writ Court having found that the demand has been made without furnishing details as to on what basis, the amount was demanded and to balance the interest of both sides, passed the conditional order directing the appellant to deposit Rs.3,50,000/- to restore electricity service connection. We find no valid ground to interfere with the order of the learned Single Judge of this Court.
6.In view of all the above, the Writ Appeal fails and hence, the same is dismissed. No costs.
