ORDER

When the matter was listed for hearing on earlier occasion i.e., 23.04.2024, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court 1/3

passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 25.04.2024 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. Even today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, though the learned counsel for the petitioner appeared before this Court, however, he only sought for further adjournment, which clearly shows that the learned counsel for the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter and therefore, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this Criminal Original Petition.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, the Criminal Appeal is rejected at the SR stage itself.
