P.S.K.Selvaraj, father of the child named Kavinya alias Kiruthika, has suffered a decretal order dated 20.11.2018 passed in G.W.O.P.No.162 of 2015 by the learned Principal District Judge, Coimbatore granting conditional visitation rights to the petitioner. As against that, the present appeal has been filed with a delay of 23 days.

2. It is stated that when the petitioner is serving as a press reporter and earning handsome money to take care of his child's education, medical expenses etc., the refusal of his request for custody of the child named Kavinya alias Kiruthika, cannot be sustained.

3. As the age of the girl child is about 7 years, the impugned decretal order granting custody to the mother, in my considered opinion, cannot be found fault with. Therefore, even by condoning the delay, no purpose is going to be served. Hence, the C.M.P.No.7739 of 2019 stands dismissed. 26.06.2019 ss http://www.judis.nic.in
