Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to give permission to the petitioner to conduct a Cultural Program scheduled to be held on 13.06.2015 at "Mari Amman Temple", Karaipadi Village, Olaippadi Post, Kunnam Vattam, Peramballur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2015.

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the Organizer of temple festival of "Mari Amman Temple", has submitted an application dated 08.06.2015 to the respondent praying for appropriate permission to conduct cultural program, such as rural folk dance, mythological dramas and music programs to espouse the Tamil culture, scheduled to be held on 13.06.2015 and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Udayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.M.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. This Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 08.06.2015 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law on or before 12.06.2015 and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
