O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 01.06.2016.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 8 made a submission that the complaint submitted by the petitioner was taken on file and a criminal case was registered and the said criminal case in C.C.No.630 of 2020 ended with an order of acquittal on 03.01.2023.

3. In view of the fact that the criminal case registered ended with an order of acquittal, no further action needs to be taken in respect of the complaint. Further, the allegations in the complaint as well as in the criminal case are one and the same and therefore, the respondents are not in a position to initiate any further action in respect of the complaint given by the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 11.04.2023 Jeni Index : Yes Speaking order
