The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Natcotic Drugs @ Psychotropic substances Act, 1985 in Crime No. 562 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was in possession of 1.100 kgs of Ganja. Hence the case.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate would submits that the petitioner was in possession of 1.100 kgs of Ganja. He further submits that there are four previous cases pending against the petitioner which are similar in nature.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by both counsel and the previous bad antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly this petition stands dismissed. 18.04.2023 smn
