Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for wilfully disobeying the order passed by this Court dated 10.06.2015 in Crl.O.P.No.13947 of 2015.

O R D E R

The petitioner gave a complaint dated 21.08.2014 and thereafter, filed an application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. in Crl.O.P.No.13947 of 2015 in which this Court issued the following directions on 10.06.2015.

"3. It is represented that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 21.08.2014 by post and

no action has been taken. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh complaint in writing to the second respondent police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and others in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed."

2. Aggrieved by the inaction of the police, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mrs.S.T.P.Kuilmozhi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Iyyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

Mr.R.Appadurai, SubInspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Salem District, is present before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, as per the directions of this Court, the complaint given by the petitioner was enquired into, and the same has been closed. A copy of the closure report has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the Bar.

5. In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is closed.
