ORDER

Mr.T.V.Krishnamachari, Senior panel Counsel for the Central Government, takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has been arrayed as an accused in a criminal case. The passport impounded from him has been released by the order of this Court dated 04.06.2015 on condition that the petitioner can travel abroad after obtaining necessary permission from the Court. In the meanwhile, the period mentioned in the passport has been expired. The petitioner made an application for renewal. A show cause notice was issued to the petitioner based upon the pending criminal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

case. The petitioner has also given his reply on 09.05.2017. Seeking appropriate order on the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above, without going into the merits of the case, a direction issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders in pursuant to the reply dated 09.05.2017 given by the petitioner, which itself was given on receipt of the notice dated 03.05.2017, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
