Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records in connection with the order of rejection Rc.No.167756/AP.IV(2)/2011 dated 24.04.2012 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to revoke the suspension and reinstate into service with all service benefits.

O R D E R
The petitioner challenges the order dated 24.04.2012 whereby and where under, his request to revoke the order of suspension was rejected on the ground that criminal case is pending against him before the Special Court constituted for cases registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
2. When the writ petition came up for hearing on 05.01.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case, a direction is issued to the respondents to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.

3. The disciplinary authority is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the disciplinary authority to approach this Court for extension of time in case the trial is prolonged on account of reasons beyond the control of the complainant in the case in question.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
