ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 191(2), 191(3), 281, 296(b), 351(3) of BNS and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damages & Loss) Act, 1992 in Crime No.40 of 2026 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with 5 other accused gave life threat to the defacto complainant by abusing in filthy language, who failed to pay money for the fuel filled in the bunk and also causing damage to the bunk.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that there are 15 previous cases pending against the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Since the petitioner has got 15 previous cases to his credit, he demonstrated whenever this Court grants bail, he misused the liberty and subverted the justice. In such view of the circumstances, he does not deserve anticipatory bail.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
