This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 20.01.2017 requesting for grant of Special Time Scale of Pay to the sanitary workers as per G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010 and pass orders on the said representation within the time limit. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, sought time for disposal of the pending representation.

3. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioners and without going into the merits, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 20.01.2017, requesting for grant of Special Time Scale of Pay as per G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
