ORDER
The instant Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to extend the retirement age of the petitioner from 58 years to 59 years in terms of G.O.Ms.No.51, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (S) Department, dated 07.05.2020.
2.From the perusal of the affidavit, the petitioner was retired from service on 30.04.2020 and he was also provided with reemployment for a period of one month. In the meanwhile, G.O.Ms.No.51, dated 07.05.2020 was ordered extending the age of retirement from 58 years to 59 years. However, the Government later on clarified that such extension will not applicable to the 2/5
persons those who are reemployed and also those who are retired prior to 01.05.2020.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would fairly submit that a similar matter had already been disposed of by this Court in a batch of W.P.(MD).No.6294 of 2020, etc., dated 28.05.2020. The factum was also admitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. In view of the submission made by both sides, by following the orders passed by this Court in a batch of W.P.(MD).No.6294 of 2020, etc., dated 28.05.2020, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
