ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1, 3 to 5 to correct the date of birth of the petitioner, viz., A.Krishnan as 27.08.1997 in SSLC Certificate for the examination held in April 2012 (Register No.1948850) and HSC examination held in March 2014 (Register No.684840) and also to direct the second respondent to correct the date of birth as 27.08.1997 in the Transfer Certificate issued to the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the present Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that his original date of birth is 27.08.1997, however, the same was wrongly mentioned as 27.06.1996 in the aforesaid certificates. Therefore, the petitioner sent a detailed representation dated 05.02.2026 to the respondents, since no action was taken, he again made a representation to the second respondent on 16.02.2026, which evoked no response and hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 05.02.2026 and 16.02.2026 and to pass appropriate orders.
5. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the second respondent is the appropriate authority to consider the case of the petitioner and therefore, a direction may be issued to the second respondent to consider the case of the petitioner, by providing a reasonable time.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the submissions made by the respective learned counsels, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to
consider the case of the petitioner based his representation dated 16.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
7. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

The matter is today listed under the caption 'for being mentioned'. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 18.03.2026 while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.10276, this Court issued direction to the first respondent, however, in paragraph no.6 of the order dated 18.03.2026 made in W.P.No.10276 of 2026, inadvertently, it has been mentioned as 'second respondent', and prayed for appropriate orders.
3.In view of the above, Paragraph no.6 of the order dated 18.03.2026 made in W.P.No.10276 of 2026, is to be read as follows: "6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the submissions made by the respective learned counsels, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the case of the petitioner based his representation dated 16.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order."
