ORDER

This Criminal Petition has been filed praying, to issue direction to the respondents to register the case and investigate the petitioner's complaint dated 02.03.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry in CSR.No.68 of 2015 was conducted and closed on the ground that the petitioner's husband had approached the Civil Court. It is also seen that there are allegations made by the petitioner against her husband, which requires enquiry.

4. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the complaint given by the petitioner has been referred to Social Welfare Officer for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Under such circumstances, the second respondent Police ought not to have closed the complaint given by the petitioner peremptorily. Hence, the second respondent is directed to obtain a report from the Social Welfare Officer and take action in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
