This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the fifth respondent.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has been wrongly denied the patta and the fifth respondent has issued the patta to some other persons based on forged documents.

3. Heard Mr.D.Senthilkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Parameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. The petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer under the Patta Passbook Act. The petitioner cannot directly approach this Court and challenge the order of the Tahsildar.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy before the third respondent viz., the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dharmapuri by challenging the order passed by the Tahsildar. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
