Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records which culminated in issuing the in Se.Mu.Aa.No.S2/18931/2018 dated 08.05.2023 on the file of the second respondent and quash the same and consequently direction directing the respondents to regularize the service of petitioner as a cook or plot watcher (supernumerary post) after completion of ten years from date of initial appointment as per G.O.(Ms) No.74, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 27.06.2013 same was done in respect of plot watchers working in the forest department vide G.O.Ms.No.202, Environment and Forest Department dated 18.12.2013 and

based on the recommendation made by the district forest officer Thiruvannamalai in Na.Ka.No.4875/2015/P4, dated 13.10.2022 and confer all other consequential benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 08.05.2023 passed by the second respondent, thereby rejected the request made by the petitioner.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent and it is pending.

3. In view of the above submission, the Appellate Authority, i.e., the first respondent, is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 19.06.2023 and dispose of the same in the light of the G.O.202, Forest Department, dated 18.12.2013 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the appeal filed is not readyily available with the first respondent, the petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the appeal to the first respondent within a period of

one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
