ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 379 and 430 of IPC and 36(A) of MMDR Rules in Crime No.2380 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found transporting three units of river sand in two lorries. Hence, the law enforcing agency registered a case against the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he sought for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner attempted to transport river sand illegally in two lorries. When the lorries were inspected, three units of sand was found. He further submitted that the petitioner has involved in three previous cases similar in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate that the petitioner has involved in three previous cases, similar in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 28/04/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
