Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the public meeting on 28.05.2017 between 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at venue of Vavipalayam Bus Stop in Thiruppur district pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2017. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the public meeting on 28.05.2017 between 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at venue of Vavipalayam Bus Stop in Thiruppur district pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2017.

2.The petitioner had submitted representation dated 11.05.2017 seeking permission to conduct a public meeting on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

28.05.2017 and it has been rejected by the respondents on the ground that the place chosen would cause inconvenience to the public.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a fresh representation would be submitted choosing an appropriate place, so that the place chosen/proposed place may not cause any inconvenience to the public.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that on such representation being made, the respondents will consider the same and pass orders. The undertaking given on the part of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, that if an appropriate place is chosen they are likely to grant permission is recorded. 5.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
