Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2011 and 20.08.2011. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petition, styled as Public Interest Litigation, has been filed seeking disposal of the representations of the petitioner dated 27.07.2011 and 20.08.2011. The grievance made for which redressal is sought is that the dealers of the respondent/Oil Corporations are forcing to buy their other products.

2. The learned counsels appearing for the Oil Corporations state that necessary remedial action has already been taken, while issuing appropriate instructions to the dealers and thus, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. It is further stated that the copy of the instructions to the dealers would be handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner within two days, if not delivered.
